Save, Deploy and Exit

This page explains the three buttons: **Save**, **Deploy**, and **Exit**.

Exit

The **Exit** button allows you to leave the System Builder editor.

If you try to exit without saving, a warning will notify you that your work has not been saved.

Save

The **Save** button stores your current work so you can continue later.

Make sure to save frequently, either by clicking **Save** or using the **Ctrl + S** shortcut.

⚠️ To make your changes visible in the **test table**, you must save your system.

Note that **Save** does **not** update your live game tables.

**** Deploy a system

The **Deploy** button creates a new version of your system.  The deploy action give the possibility to add a comment that is crucial to keep tracs on the modification.

- This version is automatically updated on all your game tables using this system.

- A **restore point** is automatically created, allowing you to roll back if you make a mistake.

Deploy your system carefully:

- when a feature is ready,

- or after significant progress in your development.

⚠️ Warning: **deploying** a system immediately updates your players’ tables. Avoid deploying a system that is still under development.
